Fernhawk Games

Privacy

This page explains, in plain words, what this site does with information. The short version:

What stays on your device

The games remember things in your browser's local storage: your game in progress, your best scores, the level you chose last, whether sound is on, and which how-to cards you have already seen. We also keep the date of your first visit (only a date, such as 2026-10-16) so that we can count how many players come back later. This information is never sent to us, except for the single anonymous number described under "Anonymous visit counts" below. If you clear your browser's site data, it is gone.

Cookies and accounts

There are no accounts. We do not set any cookies of our own.

Anonymous visit counts

When a game page opens, your browser sends our server a very small message: the name of the game, the language of the page (such as English or Korean), whether this browser has visited before (yes or no), and how many days have passed since its first visit (a number from 0 to 60). The first time you actually start playing on a page, it also sends the name of the game. These messages carry no name, no email, no random identifier and nothing else. We set up our server so that it does not store IP addresses for these messages. We use the counts to learn which games people use and whether they come back.

Problem reports

When you press "Report a problem" and then Send, we receive the text you typed (up to 500 characters), the name of the game, the level you last chose and the version of the site. Please do not write your name, email address, phone number or any other personal information in a report. We read the reports to fix problems.

Error reports

If a game breaks with an error, your browser may send us a short automatic message: the game name, the site version, the error message (up to 300 characters) and the file and line where it happened. At most three of these are sent per page load. They contain no personal information.

Cloudflare

This site is served through Cloudflare, a service that delivers web pages quickly and protects sites from attacks. To do this, Cloudflare handles each request to the site and can see technical details such as your IP address. Please see Cloudflare's privacy policy for how it treats that information.
